Drama - Drama - Drama

Life with a little girl is full of Drama. This gal has more expressions then the desert has sand I tell ya. And I think she maybe an actress too - I can't even always tell when she is being for real or not! So you know none of these faces is genuine - pure show I tell ya!

Back to the Domes

We were at the Domes again back in April - hoping to get there this summer too - Although Ava isn't loving the place like she did just a short time ago. Guess she is growing up and on to bigger things. And Zac, well he rather go to the zoo. Our boy loves animals. Oh, but I still love it here and hope to get them to go with me still.

Warren Township

Took the two little people to the park I used to play at as a kid - but the park has had a major face lift since then! None of the old and all the new. Mostly they just played in the sand. Of course there is water available too. Any opportunity to get dirty and we will part take!

Our Chef

She went to cooking school over the spring break week! At the play gallery in Delafield they take the kiddo's to a real pizzeria and they learn about cooking and actually make their own pie right there! Then they eat it. She had some left for the rest of us to try too - and it was actually rather good! She also went to the fire station with this group as well. She is a little hesitate going, as she is shy warming up, but I think she like it none the less. The teacher told me she LOVED going on the truck and climbing the ladder to the top!

Boogers and Ice Cream

Yes, that is right. The response very matter of factual out of my three year olds mouth was "Boogers and Ice Cream". Well I never thought those would ever be the answer to the same question, but life with Ava is full of endless surprises! Have you figured what the actual question was yet? Okay I'll end the guessing and the suspense; "What did you get all over the car door?" (you know the inside of the car door where she sits)! I mean she actually sits right next to a box of Kleenex, you think she'll ever use it?

Easter Morning

This Easter Ava decided she had to wear her bathing suit. Boy's bathing suit that is! Is she a hoot? So much for the beautiful spring dress with matching bonnet and gloves. As I sit here typing this, she is wearing a sleeveless T complete with skull and crossbones - and can only shake my hear and grin. In any case Easter was still a complete success as the Bunny did not disappoint! And Zac, he too was super excited, with the egg shaped balls filled with delightful treats and all!

Retzer Nature Center

It's been a month of chaos - finishing the basement - changing weather - school registration - runny noses and congestion - teething - and the list goes on! Yes, in there Ava is signed up for 4K and will be going to school FOUR DAYS a week! I can't believe it! Zac and I will need to figure out how to get along without her. And yes, we are just about done finishing our basement!!!! I'm so very excited to get Jon's office out of our bedroom and a playroom!!!! Thank you Josh, Tony, Vince and Dad. We are only wanting on our carpet, to be laid this week and we will be moving in.
Zac has a mouth full of teeth now, eleven total - hopefully he'll start sleeping better now too. This kid is getting to cool I tell ya. He is hysterical and although still only has a vocabulary of about nine words (mostly everything is a ball, or woof for dog or any hairy animal) he understands so much. So proud I am.
Ava is as witty as ever and a talker (I have no idea where she gets this from). I am constantly amazed at what she comes up with as she is always raising eyebrows and promoting laughter all around her. She going back and forth between this being a boy thing, a true identity crisis for me more than her. She asked me the other day "Mom, do you remember when I used to be a boy?" and then another time told me "I'm gonna turn into a boy today".
