Mastered spitting up now on to sitting up!

So he's been sitting for a few weeks now. My goodness, it sure is nice to be able to sit him on the floor all by himself. He loves being able to do on his own. And then a few of Ava playing with her very good friend Jason on his new playset! He needs to come over now and play on mine!

Toddler Manicure

She is now painting her nails - toddler style! She paints each one its own color with her markers - how wonderful is this? While she insist on being a boy - and only wants to wear blue and black - she will have painted nails. What can I say, she has a mind all her own. Also check out her self made beanie hat - she did this at the Art Museum the other day. Oh and the little guy is now sitting up all on his own! It's is so great to be able to sit him down and let him play! I just know he'll be crawling here too soon. Gonna be interesting seeing what all he gets into and keeping all Ava's little things away. So as you can imagine, with all this activity, lots of pictures - so I'll have more posted soon. It is so hard to pick which ones to post.

Caden Came too

Grandpa Tom brought Uncle Pete to help put my play set together - which was great because that meant Caden came over too! We were of great help to Grandpa and Uncle Pete, I know they were able to get lots done with the two of us helping out. Can you believe just hours later, Grandpa got really sick and went into the hospital. I'm so glad he's better now and at home! I'll come visit you tomorrow with Zac. Love you, Ava.

Five Years Now

The little guy isn't much into eating - he doesn't like anything yet! I'm still working on getting him used to the bottle as well, which is difficult. He just wants to chew on everything - but no eating. What's up with this? I put him in the highchair and he cries. He sees the spoon coming and he gets tight lipped - won't open his mouth for anything. He thinks he is going to nurse forever - WRONG. Just when I think he's had it, he just looks at me and smiles - how it just melts me! Anyhow, here we all are on May 1, our five year anniversary!

Spring Fever

We've been getting around, loving that warm weather is here. Jon had to mow the lawn for the first time this year - marking the official coming of spring in Wisconsin! "A" is still as action packed as ever - does she ever slow down? She is just so full of life and excitment, my goodness, I simply cannot keep up anymore! I'm hoping Mr. "Z" will keep up, as I need to pass the baton.
