Fiesta Waukesha

We've been hitting so many fun carnivals and festivals this summer I'm getting delirious! Ava and Zac are having a very fun and busy summer. We've been on the go and getting lots of sun and fun along the way! Here we are at Fiesta Waukesha in June at Frame Park! Ate tacos and enjoyed carnival rides and games! How many stuffed and blow toys can one family win?

New School

Okay so she is not transitioning so smooth to the new school. Took awhile to figure out why, but now I believe she is afraid of one of the teachers. She is from Thailand and has an accent which may be part of it. The other part, I think she tried to help Ava put on her swimsuit (they get to run in the sprinklers) which my independent girl likes to struggle through herself. Then came the sunblock, which I imagine didn't go any better. When I came to pick her up, I saw her running around in her suit, with the bottoms on sideways. She ended up putting her waist through one of the legs and then one of her legs through the waist. Anyway she looked alittle crazy. I guess the teacher attempted to help out, but Ava wasn't having it! Hopefully things smooth out soon.

A Great America Birthday!

Where did she want to go for her fourth Birthday? To Great America of course. And we made it a party with Jason, Ayden, Gage and Zac too! We ate the most expensive ice cream with sprinkles (thanks to Aunt Stephanie) to celebrate there too!

Care Free Days

Don't you just wish you could go back to days like these? I love that these two can still take me there at any given moment - it is their gift to me and I am so thankful for it! Of course, there are other times....

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY

I can't believe it - but she is now four years old! I love this gal so much, I can't tell you. We celebrated by going to Great America and she got a bike! Party on Saturday with the fam! She is having a Hannah Montana party and has requested that everyone wears pink! What a turn around from just a few months ago. Although her "boyish" side and style still have a way of showing up and I never quite know when or where so she keeps me guessing. Just one of the very many things I love about her.

Spring Musical

Here is our star at her Spring Musical on her last day of preschool. She will be starting 4K in the fall but is still starting a few days a week during the summer at the new school. She isn't too into school - much rather stay home with Mommy. But I push her to go and she seems to manage okay, just wish she'd love it at this age. Well maybe next year. Anyhow, and more importantly, she is wearing pink, and a shirt and a very sparkly hat!!! I don't know why this thrills me so - but it does!

The Charmer

This kid is a real smooth one ya know! We went with all our BFF's (Stephanie, Jason and Ari) at the Stevensons for a playdate.
