or a least he gave it one good try. We headed to the Fox River Park and went down the huge double slide. Ava goes down one side and Mommy and Zac head down the other. Wow what a slide. We climb back to the top and repeat. Okay we repeat several times. Zac is getting brave, he wants to go it alone. Mommy is a little skeptical and suggests "Zac why don't you go down one side and I'll go down the other and we can hold hands" "Great" he seems to say and off we go! Okay so this works good. Once again we climb back to the top and repeat several times. Oh, wait Zac - Mommy's not on the slide yet. Too late off he goes. Oh my he is going awful quick! Mommy's coming down after him but can't catch up. As Zac hits the bottom of the slide he "flies" off in dramatic fashion with arms raised high in the air and legs kicking. He lands a perfect belly flop on the ground. A little shaken and in complete disbelief we are all fine.

He says he's four
Happy Birthday Baby! My oh my I can't believe what a wild man this kid has grown to be. He is determined as ever. Zac has gotten awfully quick too - he speeds around this place and cuts the corners so close, I can barely stand to watch (and Daddy? he goes nuts). He still has a strong love for all animals - and loves all shows with them. I think he might just be a veterinarian. He is getting into dinosaurs more too. He still plays cars and trains and loves all ramps and racing things! Oh and if you ask how old he is, he replies "fffffffffffour!" Silly boy, guess he wants to be like Ava!

Tae Kwon Do
Yes the lovely lady is now kicking and punching - and yes we are paying to allow her to do it! She loves it and has already advanced to a yellow belt for the Little Dragons. Funny thing is this was the class she selected from the park district. (It was between dance, gymnastics and Tae Kwon Do). Do you want to know the determining factor? Straight from her mouth was "I want a boy teacher". So Tae Kwon Do it is! Zac went along the one week to show his support. Ava is just outside the building after class showing us her form - Zac has his own ideas.

Zoo
Took the two kiddo's and meet Stephanie, Jason and Ari at the Zoo. Decided to finally see the Dinosaur exhibit. The kids were terrified, at least until we were done, then discovered it wasn't so scary! It was fun and a really great exhibit, not too big so perfect with the kids! The dinosaurs moved and roared (which was the terrifying part). They seemed to like the "baby" dinosaurs, but not the big ones! Of course we always love the goats!
