Fabulous Five

I don't know about this whole turning five thing, but I guess I don't have a choice. She is now five and not looking back! Once again we went to Six Flags for her Birthday and we so glad to have Aunt Stephanie, Jason, Grace, Brayden, Uncle Tony, Alexis and Emily join us. What super fun. Ava was especially excited to have Uncle Tony take her on the Demon (an upside down rollercoaster)! What a great fifth birthday! It is still all she talks about - we will have to get there a few more times this year.

Birthday Party

Well she had her party back in June with lots of good friends and fun. Now that she is five she decided to

have a Daphne (from Scooby Doo) cake and a good mix of things. Ava and her friends had a great time running all over the place and playing pin the tail on the donkey, which they also colored their donkey tails. Kids pictured above starting with Ava and moving clockwise are: Ava, Anna Z., Jason, Brayden, Zac, Samantha, Maali, Grace and then Leo off to the side.

Summer Beauty

Had to take a few photos while I had her in this dress! Bribed her with a Pepsi and Zac had to get in on that action too!

Summer can't be ending!

August is ending - and I haven't posted one thing about summer. How is this happening? I have to update about Ava in Tae Kwon Do and her gum chewing toe ring happening, her turning five, the vast improvements in swimming, Zac wanting to lick everything, going to fairs, parks, the zoo, Great America, Water Parks, Chicago, along with our new love of all things Scooby Doo and Star Wars too and so much more. But for today I tell you that yesterday we registered for school. Yes, school starts back in two weeks - my goodness. They just finished summer school/camp yesterday! I'm so kind to give them a two week break - I'm gonna be exhausted but promise to make it the best two weeks I can. Oh and yes, we had family photos once again.
