We went to the parade, and of course, Jon made sure we went home with ten pounds of candy. Who does he think is suppose to eat it all? Well I guess he had fun knocking out all the other kids trying to get it. I think our parade is the most unorganized parade ever. There are literally no floats - just people walking and riding bikes, pulling wagons all decked out in red, white and blue. I really believe they allow anyone to participate - but boy do they have the candy, flags, pencils, fliers, water, and Popsicles to give out! Of course there is the high school bands and fire department as well. But for some reason, we find ourselves going ever year!

Circus Carnival
We have been super busy - Circus Carnival, Bastille Days, Boston, Zoo, Parks, Preschool, baseball, etc. Not to mention that the little guy is moving all over. He's up and crawling on all fours now, so not a safe moment around here anymore! He is attempting to climb up on everything - yikes! !No time for stories now, Ava is calling, so I'll just post a few pic's and be on my motherly way.

First Day
she had her first day last week - and my goodness - how she is growing up! She loves it so far. She was so excited to go. I do think she missed me and wondered where I went though. When I arrived to pick her up, she was sitting on the carpet with all the kids listening to a story. Once it was done and she saw me, she came running! She hugged me so tight and said "I love you mommy"! How great is that? I was going to stop at the store on the way home, but she just wanted to get home, so that was what we did. Today was her second day (she is only going one day a week through the summer), and she seemed to adjust great. Didn't mind me leaving, although she requested I just wait in the car and not go home without her. I told her I had a few things to do (not mentioning they were things at home) and then I'd be back; which she was okay with. How strange to be without her for these three hours, and liberating too!

Our Park
Here we are at our neighborhood park. Ava decided to run up and climb a dirt hill - you can imagine all the dirt in her shorts and pull-up, as she skid down on her bottom. Zac is loving the swing - and look at those thighs - so squeezable soft!
She has been dressing herself lately, which has proven difficult for me. She insist on being a boy, and mostly wears t-shirts and blue. So many beautiful cloths just hang in her closet, oh please just be a phase
