Play-Doh

Just another Play-Doh making day! These two love working with Play-Doh. We keep it all in a drawer in the kitchen, and they love that they can just help them selves to it and work on the kitchen island!

Halloween (part 2)

and here we are on the actual day. Went to Bear country, where Zac would be safe, and loaded up on the hay wagon and were on our way! Thanks to the Stevenson's for hosting a great Halloween event.

Halloween (part 1)

Yes, we did Halloween twice this year. The week prior we headed to the Children's Play Gallery for a Halloween party complete with crafts, candy, cookies and face painting. After we headed out where the shops of Delafield had Trick or Treat! What a blast. Of course Ava was Hannah Montana (with a spider, her tribute to Spiderman, painted on her face!) and Zac become frightened of his tiger costume so mom had to whip up a football player last minute. Dad wasn't too happy about the team, but what can I say; I think is turned out perfectly! Kids and candy, what else is better?

Zac's flying

or a least he gave it one good try. We headed to the Fox River Park and went down the huge double slide. Ava goes down one side and Mommy and Zac head down the other. Wow what a slide. We climb back to the top and repeat. Okay we repeat several times. Zac is getting brave, he wants to go it alone. Mommy is a little skeptical and suggests "Zac why don't you go down one side and I'll go down the other and we can hold hands" "Great" he seems to say and off we go! Okay so this works good. Once again we climb back to the top and repeat several times. Oh, wait Zac - Mommy's not on the slide yet. Too late off he goes. Oh my he is going awful quick! Mommy's coming down after him but can't catch up. As Zac hits the bottom of the slide he "flies" off in dramatic fashion with arms raised high in the air and legs kicking. He lands a perfect belly flop on the ground. A little shaken and in complete disbelief we are all fine.

Keeping up

You didn't think Zac would let Ava have all the artistic talent in the family? Well he's been working on lots of projects - some better, some great I'd say. Here he is working on a letter "Z". It's much harder than it looks. (True talent always looks easy.)

Picking flowers
